City of Hazel Park, Michigan

Hazel Park was incorporated in 1942, as a Home Rule City and is structured under the Council-Manager form of government. The Hazel Park City Council, which is the legislative and governing body, consists of the Mayor and four City Council members who are elected at-large to staggered four-year terms. The City Council appoints the City Manager who is the chief administrative officer, exercising oversight of all municipal departments.
