Trash Pick Up:
Trash must be at the curb by 7 a.m. Trashcans must be a maximum 35 gallons not to exceed 60 lbs. Compost must be in a can 35 gallons maximum not to exceed 60 lbs. with a compost label or a paper yard waste bag. Wood must be tied and bundled no longer than 3 feet in length and no larger than 18 inches in diameter. Bulk items should be placed at curb by 7:00 a.m. maximum 3 items per week. Compost stickers and recycling information is available at City Hall or at the DPW. Contact DPW for more details.

Motor Oil:
Motor oil may be dropped off at the DPW 7:00a.m. to 3:00p.m., stop in the office for details. We are located at 24211 Couzens between Woodward Hts. and 10 Mile.

Cement Pick Up:
Cement will be picked up only the first two weeks in the month of May; residents may put out a maximum of one cubic yard per week. One cubic yard is equal to 3 foot X 3 foot X 3 foot.

Trash Bags:
Plastic trash bags may be purchased at City Hall, from the Treasurers Office, for 13.50.

Leaf Pick Up Policy:
Residents must not rake leaves into the street. All leaves must be put into paper leaf yard waste bags or trashcans labeled with a yard waste sticker. All cans are limited to 35 gallons maximum with a 60 lbs. weight capacity. Plastic bags are not acceptable.
Leaves will be picked up on your regular trash day weekly. Have them contained and placed out by 7:00a.m.

Brush Pick Up (Chipping):
The chipper goes out every Wednesday. Brush must be over 4 ft. long, 1-5 inches in diameter, and all cut ends must be facing the same direction at the curb. They CANNOT have vines, dirt, roots, or debris mixed in. All brush under 4 ft. long must be tied and bundled, not to exceed 18 inches in diameter per bundle, and put to the curb with regular rubbish, on the regular rubbish day.
