Hazel Park Ice Arena features both NHL and Olympic size rinks and is home to numerous local competitive and recreational programs and tournaments, as well as learn to skate and public skating programs. The arena also holds annual special events including the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Game to benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Metro Detroit, and the Tier 1 Elite Bantam Major Showcase, featuring AAA teams from Chicago, Cleveland and Detroit.

Honeybaked Hockey Association: HoneyBaked teams have won numerous MAHA State Championships and 5 USA Hockey National Championships as well as the Quebec PeeWee tournament 4 times.
Honeybaked continues to be a leader in sending players to the United States National Development Team. Additionally, there are over 50 Honeybaked alumni playing in the NCAA. Several players have even gone on to stellar NHL careers, including David Booth (Toronto), Tim Gleason (Washington), Ryan Kesler (Anaheim), Drew Miller (Detroit), and Corey Potter (Arizona) among others.
