Cancellation of Activities
The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel and/or
reschedule any activity where there is insufficient registration
or other causes beyond its control. If the Recreation Department
cancels an activity, a full refund will be given to participants.
All other refunds will be subject to a 10% administrative fee.

Call this number to see if classes or events sponsored by the
Recreation Department are cancelled due to inclement weather
such as a watch or warning.
SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE!
You can share your ideas with us by calling 547-5535! The Recreation
Department is always looking for new ideas to offer the residents
of the City of Hazel Park and the Hazel Park School District.
If you have a suggestion or idea that you'd like to see offered
through your Community Center, call us! We are always looking
for good instructors and good ideas!
OPEN HOUSE!
The Center will be open for students to shoot pool, play ping
pong, air hockey, and board games. The Games Room is open Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday: 3-4:45 pm
FEE: FREE!!!! *Volleyball is played when the big room is available.
HANDICAPPED ACTIVITIES
Oakland County Parks and Recreation in conjunction with Northwest
Parks & Recreation Therapeutic Committee has many activities
and classes for both the physically and mentally impaired. Both
weekly and special events, including trips are offered. For
more information or to get on their mailing list, please call

Community Center & Park Rentals
The Hazel Park Community Center has rooms available for your
next family or group function. For more information on rental
prices and availability, please call the Recreation Department
at 547-5535. Park Rental forms will be available in February.
