The City of Hazel Park will be presenting a “Key to the City” to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) mixed martial arts (MMA) competitor Myles Jury. He is currently undefeated (15-0) and ranked #8 in the world in the UFC’s lightweight division. Oakland County Day at the DIA
The Detroit Institute of Arts is holding an "Oakland County Day" on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Free transportation will be provided from several locations in Oakland County to the DIA. A bus will be departing from Hazel Park City Hall (111 E. Hazel Park Fire Dept. Open House

Please join us for the Hazel Park Fire Department's Open House Cancer Benefit on Sunday, October 5th.

The event will begin with a pancake breakfast at 8:00 AM put on by the HPFD and Hazel Park Eagles. The cost for a plate at this fundraiser is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids.

The Open House itself is free, and runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and will feature the opportunity to try on firefighting gear and use a fire hose, as well as a bounce house and helicopter demonstration. Many other fun activities are available too for both parents and kids.
