Couzens Avenue Repaving

Beginning on Monday, August 31st, 2015, Couzens Ave. between Woodward Heights and 10 Mile Rd. will be closed entirely to all traffic, including pedestrians, for the duration of the repaving project. This closure will facilitate quicker repairs and thus a sooner reopening of the road. All traffic will be detoured to Dequindre Rd.

All east-side entrances to Karam Park will be closed, with parking temporarily allowed within the E Garfield Ave. cul-de-sac only. (The Dog Park will be closed during repairs). All east-side DPW gates will be closed as well. The rear entrance on E Annabelle Ave. will be open to the public during business hours only.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the DPW between 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, at (248) 542-0340. Thank you.
