Open House

The Hazel Park Professional Firefighters sponsor an Open House every fall during Fire Prevention Week.  The open house provides a host of information, demonstrations on fire safety, and gives the public a chance to meet firefighters and tour the fire station.

Health Screenings

The firefighters will provide free blood pressure screening at the fire station free of charge on a walk-in basis. The fire station is located at 22830 Russell.

Community Involvement/Fund Raising

The Hazel Park Professional Firefighters are active in the community and support numerous charitable events, groups.  The firefighters raise funds for the Muscular Distrophy Association, and the Michigan Burn Center through their Fill the Boot drive. Another annual fundraiser is the Annual Glow Bowl event typically held in January, supports local charities including school groups, summer youth baseball, wrestling programs, and the Hazel Park Youth Association.
