Trash Pick-Up

The City of Hazel Park will be assisting Tringali sanitation with the trash collection.

Thursday August 21 at 7:00am with the help from Oakland County Road Commission and Bedrock Express, the Department of Public Works has started collecting trash from the curbs. They have started in the West Side of the City. At this time we are hoping that collection for the entire city will be completed within the next few days.
In order to help get this resolved sooner for the residents. We ask that all vehicles be removed from the streets until collection is completed. Also, for the safety of residents and the crews we ask that residents driving within the City be very alert and patient when driving in the areas that they are working.

Street Sweeping and normal routine maintenance will be suspended until collection is completed.

At this time we are anticipating pick- up for Monday August 25, 2014 will resume on schedule under the normal collection guidelines. Please note: No construction materials will be picked up after resuming the normal schedule. Please see Collection Guidelines for complete list.

Complete Collection Guidelines

We thank all the residents for their continued understanding and patience.
